Document-readiness checklist reviews
Two per member year, included in the Reference Desk. A review works your document set against the library's published readiness checklist and returns the checklist with every gap marked — before the documents meet an IRS process that would mark the gaps for you.
§ 1 —The six checks, as a specimen marked checklist
READINESS CHECKLIST — SPECIMEN, MARKED AS A REVIEW MARKS IT
SPECIMEN — MARKS SHOWN ARE THE FORM OF A REVIEW'S OUTPUT, ON A FICTIONAL SET
§ 2 —What a review is not
A review is a readiness check against a published checklist. It is not filing, certification, tax preparation, or advice; it does not submit anything to the IRS; and its output is the marked checklist plus the library entries that explain each gap — not a professional opinion on your facts. Questions a checklist cannot answer are returned to you as questions to take to a qualified professional, named as such.
§ 3 —Intake — the Call Slip
Reviews begin when the Reference Desk opens; founding-list members are served first. While payments are not open, this intake captures interest only — do not send actual documents through this form. Document exchange opens with membership, through the member channel described at opening.
