What we compile, said plainly.
This service compiles public business-registry records — entity name, file number, form, formation date, registry status, registered agent and registered-office address — and sells access to firms for verifying entities in their own client work. Some of those public filings name individuals: sole proprietors, and people who act as their own registered agent. This notice exists for them as much as for subscribers.
Limits coded into the product, not just promised
- A fixed field list. Only the registry fields named above are stored or delivered. Tax identification numbers of any kind, dates of birth, personal emails and phone numbers, and member/manager/officer lists are excluded by design — a record containing one is rejected by our systems, not filed away.
- Home addresses are suppressed by default. Where a sole proprietor's or individual agent's published registered-office address is a home address, it is withheld from bulk extracts entirely, and shown only inside a signed-in, named-entity lookup where that address of record is the very fact the firm needs — with its permitted use stated on the record.
- No enrichment. We do not combine registry data with any other source about a person. Adding a non-registry source would be a different business and is not done under this notice.
- No marketing use, by us or by subscribers. Records are never sold as a prospecting or solicitation list, and subscribers are contractually barred from using them for marketing, and from any eligibility decision (credit, insurance, employment, tenancy).
If a record is about you
- Correction: the corrections channel is open to described entities and individuals without an account — identity-verified, checked against the state source, answered in writing.
- Deletion: where a law gives you a deletion right over data we hold about you, use the same channel and say so; the request is logged, answered, and honoured on the schedule that law sets. Where our record simply repeats the public registry, deletion of our copy does not change the registry — only the state can change the state record — and our reply will say exactly what we deleted and what remains public at the source.
- Data-broker registrations: this business's per-state data-broker determinations are maintained in a standing applicability file; registrations are filed in each state that requires one before data covering that state's individuals is sold, and this notice will name the registrations as they are made.
Security & retention, in brief
An aggregation of public rows is still a store worth protecting: encryption in transit and at rest, least-privilege access with multi-factor authentication, access logging, a written retention schedule (record snapshots for the life of a subscription plus 24 months; correction and delivery logs 7 years, because the correction duty depends on them), and a breach plan in which notifying affected subscribers and meeting Pennsylvania's breach-notification duties are the default, not a decision made during an incident.
This notice is the product's working privacy statement as built, dated 2026-11-06. The service is not yet selling; the notice will be re-dated when it does, and any change to the field list above is a change to this notice first.
